6018C Alignment Lift: Does the Quotation Include the Measuring Equipment?

Separate the 6018C lift, turnplates and slip plates from the measuring machine, targets, clamps and optional rolling jack when specifying an alignment bay.

An alignment lift quotation needs more than a model name

The EHRLE 6018C is a surface-mounted alignment lift rated at 4,000 kg. Its listed arrangement includes front turnplates and rear slip plates. Those components describe the vehicle-support layout; they do not establish that the quotation includes equipment which measures wheel alignment.

The current product record identifies the wheel-alignment measuring machine, targets and clamps as separate equipment unless expressly included. Before comparing quotations, ask for a clear distinction between the lift, its supplied accessories and the measuring-equipment package. A heading such as “alignment lift” does not resolve the scope of a complete bay.

Identify what comes with the lift and what must be listed separately

For the 6018C, the listed main arrangement is the surface-mounted 4,000 kg lift with front turnplates and rear slip plates. An optional rolling bridge jack has a separate specification. Ask the quotation to identify the actual turnplates and slip plates supplied, the selected jack if required and any additional accessories.

Then request a separate line identifying the measuring machine and its targets and clamps, if those are part of the project. Do not infer inclusion from an illustration showing workshop equipment. A written equipment list gives the buyer, supplier and installer a common reference for what will arrive.

Check the measuring system against the chosen bay layout

The 6018C lists 4,500 mm runway length and 630 mm width per runway. These are useful dimensions for discussing the support layout, but they do not establish a universal vehicle wheelbase range or compatibility with every measuring system.

Provide the intended vehicles and the exact measuring-system model with the enquiry. Ask the suppliers to confirm usable tire positions, accessory positions and the installation layout for that combination. Where measuring-equipment placement or access affects the bay, use the selected system’s documentation rather than assuming that the lift’s runway dimensions settle the whole project.

Resolve low-clearance vehicle access using the missing drawing details

The current 6018C record does not give a verified numerical minimum platform height or final approach-ramp geometry. Obtain those details for the selected configuration and compare them with the actual vehicle’s ground clearance and approach characteristics.

A surface-mounted configuration or a low-profile description alone is not approval for every low vehicle. The installation plan should identify the relevant equipment envelope and access conditions. Do not borrow minimum-height figures from another scissor lift, or estimate ramp angles from the cover image.

Keep optional wheel-free equipment distinct from main-lift capacity

If the intended work needs secondary lifting, specify the optional 6018C rolling bridge jack separately. Its capacity, lifting range and support arrangement must be confirmed for the actual vehicles and service tasks. The main lift’s 4,000 kg rating is not a published jack rating.

The related BH6108 illustrates a different equipment scope: it is a recessed alignment lift with an integrated secondary scissor stage rated at 3,000 kg and a 4,000 kg main lift. That integrated arrangement must not be transferred to a 6018C quotation. Select the intended secondary equipment before finalizing accessories and site plans.

Separate installation, utilities and measuring-equipment commissioning

The 6018C is surface-mounted, while the BH6108 uses prepared recesses. Use the installation documents for the selected model; a shared main rating and similar runway dimensions do not make their floor layouts interchangeable.

The 6018C lists a 2.2 kW electro-hydraulic drive, 220 V or 380 V supply options and 24 V controls. Confirm the ordered input voltage, phase and frequency. For a complete alignment-bay project, ask which party supplies the lift installation documents and which supplies the measuring-system setup and commissioning instructions. The equipment schedule should identify both responsibilities without assuming one supplier’s lift quotation covers the whole measuring system.

A scope checklist for comparing alignment-bay quotations

Request an itemized schedule covering:
1. Exact lift model, capacity and surface or recessed installation.
2. Actual supplied turnplates, rear slip plates and other runway accessories.
3. Optional or integrated secondary lifting equipment and its separate rating.
4. Measuring-machine model and included targets, clamps and other confirmed components.
5. Compatibility confirmation for the selected vehicles and equipment combination.
6. Model-specific dimensions, approach information and installation requirements.
7. Electrical supply configuration and supplied utility documentation.
8. Delivery contents, installation scope and measuring-system commissioning documents.

Send EHRLE the vehicle range, intended service tasks, measuring-system choice, bay plan and destination. Have the applicable equipment suppliers and qualified installer confirm the final arrangement before ordering or preparing the site. This checklist does not prescribe alignment procedures or construction values.

FAQ: Does the 6018C include a wheel-alignment measuring machine?

The current record treats the measuring machine, targets and clamps as separate equipment unless expressly included in the quotation. Confirm the actual supplied package in writing.

FAQ: Can I apply the 4T lift rating to the optional rolling jack?

No. The jack has a separate capacity, lifting range and support arrangement. Obtain those specifications for the selected jack and intended vehicles.

FAQ: Is the BH6108 secondary stage the same as the 6018C optional jack?

No. The BH6108 record describes an integrated secondary scissor stage. The 6018C lists an optional rolling bridge jack. Their equipment scope and installation plans differ.
