EF450 vs EC450: Choosing a 4.2T Two-Post Car Lift
Compare floor-plate and overhead layouts, minimum pad heights and workshop access before choosing between these two EHRLE 4,200 kg lifts.

The key difference is the connecting structure
The EF450 uses a floor-plate arrangement between its two columns. The EC450 uses an overhead connecting structure. Both list a 4,200 kg lifting capacity. Choose between them by checking your vehicles, workshop access and the installation drawing, rather than capacity alone.
Check pad height and vehicle clearance
The EF450 lists a minimum pad height of 110 mm, while the EC450 lists 95 mm. These figures help with an initial comparison for lower vehicles, but do not guarantee access to every vehicle lifting point. Check the vehicle underside, approved lifting points and required adapters for your application.
Plan access around the actual installation
Both models list 3,000 mm clear distance between columns. The EF450 lists a 2,730 mm drive-through width and a 3,530 mm overall width. The EC450 lists a 3,600 mm overall width. Clear column spacing and drive-through width are different measurements; use the exact drawing when checking access and available floor space.
Confirm height, foundations and electrical supply
The EC450 lists a maximum lifting height of 1,850 mm. The required building clearance also depends on the vehicle and the operating arrangement. Obtain the current model drawing and installation instructions before deciding on ceiling clearance, concrete preparation or anchors. Both product pages list 220 V and 380 V supply options; confirm phase, frequency and the supplied motor configuration in the quotation.
What to send with your enquiry
Send the preferred model, vehicle types and weights, lifting-point information, workshop dimensions, ceiling height, electrical supply and destination. Ask for the applicable installation drawing and model-specific documents. Product scene images are illustrative; confirm supplied accessories and finish in the quotation.
